Center for Democratization Studies (Cedes) is a research community founded in April 2011 by several academics and democracy activists.

Cedes promotes and supports the development and consolidation of democratic processes, institutions, and values in Indonesia. Cedes engages in activities such as research, policy advocacy, training, capacity building, and public awareness campaigns to strengthen democratic governance, civic participation, and respect for human rights.

Cedes is a dynamic organization dedicated to advancing the principles of democracy and promoting scholarly research in the fields of political science, public policy, and law.
